[Itaewon Restaurant] A Vegan Restaurant in Itaewon When You’re Craving a Healthy Meal

Maybe because it’s the season of abundance,

I’ve been feeling extra hungry lately,

and I’ve been worried about the extra weight I’ve gained,

so we went to this restaurant! (Though I could just not eat a meal!)

A honest review of the Itaewon vegan restaurant ‘Vegehouse’

Let’s get started right away.

Vegehouse is located near Haebangchon.

I tried to park in the lot above the store,

but it was already full, so I parked nearby and went in.

I wouldn’t recommend going by car.

The inside of the restaurant isn’t very large,

and since it’s Itaewon, a foreign staff member took our order,

and they spoke Korean better than I do ^0^

There were only a few tables inside,

and there were 2–3 tables on the terrace as well.

We barely managed to find seats.

I had seen reviews on other blogs saying the portions were small,

so the two of us ordered three menu items.

The burrito bowl, with its bright, colorful presentation, was beautiful.

It came out first,

and you just mix it well before eating.

Tofu lasagna.

The sauce tastes like lasagna sauce.

Lastly, the panini.

A plain panini with the familiar taste everyone knows.

So healthy, so healthy.

A table full of food with no meat to be found.

The best of the three was the burrito bowl.

The two of us ate about that much, so we were quite full...

but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.

I guess I’m just a hopeless carnivore.

Still, it’s a vegan restaurant worth visiting at least once!
