Hello :)
Delivering results you can trust
This is JW Jardon Plastic Surgery.

After pregnancy and childbirth,
the breasts can sag downward.
This can lead to a loss of confidence
and may also cause psychological stress.
Even without pregnancy and childbirth,
some women naturally have sagging breasts,
or experience breast drooping due to aging or rapid weight loss,
and look into breast lift surgery,
breast lifting, or correction for sagging breasts.
In developed countries, this is a common procedure,
just like breast augmentation surgery.
Let’s take a closer look at sagging breast correction surgery.
Causes and Diagnosis of Sagging Breasts

In general, sagging breast diagnosis is based on the position of the nipple
relative to the inframammary fold.
As shown in the figure above,
the degree of sagging can be assessed
according to the nipple position.

There are several causes of sagging breasts.
As skin elasticity decreases with aging,
the breasts may droop downward.
With rapid weight gain,
the breasts may also enlarge and sag downward.
Conversely, breast drooping can occur due to weight loss.
Finally, sagging breasts can also appear after pregnancy and childbirth.
Breast Lift Surgery, Surgical Methods According to the Degree of Sagging

The surgical method for sagging breasts is applied differently
depending on the degree of sagging.
If the sagging is mild and the breasts are small,
correction may be possible with breast augmentation surgery alone,
without a lift.
If the sagging is severe and cannot be corrected with augmentation alone,
various types of breast lift procedures can raise the breasts
and create a firm, attractive breast shape.
Solve sagging with augmentation without a lift!

Breast Lift Surgery Methods by Incision Type

If a lift is needed,
different incision methods are applied according to the degree of sagging
to perform sagging breast correction.
For mild sagging, the surgery is performed using the least-scarring incision method,
the crescent-shaped incision.
For moderate sagging, a lift is performed using a periareolar incision,
allowing correction of sagging breasts while leaving scars limited to the areolar area.
Vertical incisions and inverted-T incisions are used in cases of severe sagging,
and can provide the most reliable sagging correction results.
After Sagging Breast Surgery or Breast Lift Surgery, How Should You Care for It?

Sagging breast surgery does not usually require hospitalization.
You can be discharged on the same day after surgery,
and return to daily life in 2 to 3 days.
Sagging breast correction surgery is generally similar to breast reduction surgery,
but differs in that it does not lose breast volume.
Therefore, recovery tends to be faster than with breast reduction surgery,
and the recovery period is also shorter.
