[Gapyeong Cafe] Enjoy a Cup of Coffee with an Open River View, Gapyeong

Last weekend, I went on an outing to Gapyeong after a long time.

The weather had been clear and sunny for the past few days,

but it happened to rain that day, which was a bit disappointing,

though rainy Gapyeong had its own charm.

This is Cafe 'Aura,' located near Gapyeong Riverland Hotel.

After parking the car,

if you go down, you’ll find Cafe Aura.

The outdoor tables were visible even from above.

It was disappointing because it was raining.

Cheongpyeong Lake seen through the trees.

Trees tinged with autumn colors here and there.

It would be even better to come on a clear day.

Including the ordering area, it is divided into a large room and a small glass room.

The large room connects to the outdoors, so it was a bit cold, so we went to the small glass room.

It was much warmer and cozier.

The signature menu items are posted on the wall,

and the detailed menu is displayed in front of the ordering counter.

We ordered coffee, cold brew, and blueberry cream pandoro.

There were several trendy baked goods such as an-butter, croissants, and pandoro,

and the blueberry cream pandoro looked delicious, so we ordered it.

This is a fully glass-enclosed space.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t sit by the window,

but I liked that the glass windows were large.

There is a bungee-jumping spot right next door,

so we could even watch people actually bungee jump.

The cream was packed all the way to the inside of the bread,

and it paired well with the blueberry jam.

The coffee wasn’t bad either!

This was my honest review of Cafe 'Aura' in Gapyeong,

a place where I could relax near Seoul.
