Hello :)
We are JW Jingwon Plastic Surgery,
dedicated to delivering results.

A straight nasal bridge and a defined nose tip
create a clear, three-dimensional impression,
and can also make the face appear slimmer.
If the bridge is bent to one side,
it can affect even the overall impression.
In addition, a crooked nasal bridge means
not only that the shape is bent,
but that it may also be accompanied by problems with the nasal bones or nasal function.
Let’s take a look at JW Jingwon’s crooked nose correction,
which straightens a deviated nose to create a beautiful line
and also corrects nasal function.
A deviated nose: custom surgery tailored to the type to correct both shape and function at once!

A crooked nose, or deviated septum, literally refers to
the nasal bridge being bent to either the left or right side.
Because this bending can occur in all four areas—the nasal bone, upper lateral cartilage, tip cartilage (alar cartilage),
and septal cartilage—the surgical scope changes depending on
which area is bent and by how much.
For mild crooked nose correction,
the left-right slope is adjusted through cartilage or dermal grafting
so that the bent area appears less crooked.
In many cases, this simple method is enough for correction.

However, if multiple structures of the nose are bent at the same time,
procedures such as nasal bone osteotomy, deviated septum surgery, inferior turbinate reduction (nasal obstruction surgery),
and nasal valve reconstruction must be performed together to correct both the cause of the deviation
and the functional problems that accompany it.

For crooked nose correction, an accurate diagnosis must come first.
At JW Jingwon Plastic Surgery, in-depth examinations using 3D-CT
are used to thoroughly diagnose and analyze the degree of nasal bone deviation,
whether a deviated septum is present, whether nasal congestion is present,
the various shapes and sizes of the cartilage, and the width of the nasal bones,
allowing for a more detailed surgical plan and safe surgery.

How should you care for yourself after crooked nose surgery?
For 2–3 days after rhinoplasty,
it is recommended to apply ice packs.
For about one month after surgery, avoid strong friction on the surgical area
and avoid facial massage treatments.
It is also best to wait until one month has passed after surgery before going to a sauna or steam room.
Alcohol and smoking slow wound healing, so you should not resume them until after 4 weeks.
Light walking is possible immediately after surgery,
but vigorous exercise such as aerobics, tennis, and swimming should be resumed only 3–4 weeks after surgery.
*Plastic surgery may cause side effects such as bleeding and infection depending on the individual.
