[Yaksu Food Spot] A Restaurant Featured on *Suwon Food Talk* — Honest Review of Jinnampo Myeonok

With the weather getting much colder, I’ve been craving a warm bowl of soup these days.

So the place I looked up was Jinnampo Myeonok in Yaksu-dong.

It’s famous for its North Korean-style steamed chicken, but I heard their hot dumpling hot pot is also very delicious, so I went to try it.

Let’s get straight into the review.

It was just a little after 6 o’clock, and there were quite a few customers here and there.

Most people were eating the steamed chicken.

The interior is bright and fairly clean.

There were steamed chicken, dumpling hot pot, bossam, and buckwheat noodles, among others.

I wanted to try the mung bean pancake too, but first I ordered the dumpling hot pot.

The side dishes were kkakdugi and fresh kimchi.

The small dumpling hot pot came out quickly.

It contains dumplings about the size of a fist.

Since it was a mushroom dumpling hot pot, it had a lot of mushrooms.

The staff cooked it for us until it was ready to eat.

The dumplings were fist-sized.

They were packed full inside.

The flavor was light and clean, and it was good.

We also ordered rice and ate that in the middle.

I didn’t think it would be especially filling,

but after eating the rice too, I was extremely full.

Next time, I should come back to try the steamed chicken.

That was my honest review of Jinnampo Myeonok in Yaksu-dong, where the mushroom dumpling hot pot was also delicious.
