Today, we’re sharing an honest review of Hongbaek at Samseong Jungang Station, a place where you can enjoy a filling yukhoe bibimbap.

It’s very close to JW Jeongwon Plastic Surgery, right in front of Samseong Jungang Station Exit 6.

'Hongbaek,' a restaurant specializing in charcoal-grilled Korean beef

Banquet seating on the 1st and 2nd floors complete!

It seems like it would also be a popular place for company dinners among nearby office workers.

But today, we’re here for lunch.

You can see the lunch menu at a glance even from the entrance.

From Korean beef bulgogi hot pot to Korean beef blood sausage hangover soup, there are many lunch menu options made with Korean beef.

As I entered the entrance, I saw them preparing the beef by hand.

The bones over there must be beef ribs, right?

After temperature checks and QR code check-in, we were shown to our seats.

There is a main hall, and there are quite a few private rooms inside as well.

Today, we were shown to a table in the main hall.

There is also seating on the second floor.

At Hongbaek, I always order the yukhoe bibimbap.

Since you have to wear a mask until the food comes out, the side dishes were served after the yukhoe bibimbap was brought out.

Fresh kimchi, stir-fried fish cake, soy-braised beef, radish kimchi, and stir-fried seaweed stems. A solid set of side dishes.

The taste was ordinary, but the fresh kimchi and radish kimchi were delicious!

Today’s main dish, yukhoe bibimbap.

It is bibimbap topped with a round mound of yukhoe, a fried egg, and various seasoned vegetables.

And a bowl of hot Korean beef blood sausage hangover soup comes with it as well.

The hangover soup is bubbling away.

Although it is a small serving, it contains large pieces of radish and blood sausage, and also some meat.

It has a clear broth, but it is spicy and refreshing.

Even though the price is over 10,000 won, the amount is excellent for the price.

Since the seasoning is already inside, you just need to add the rice and mix it well.

The seasoning was just right.

While you’re enjoying the yukhoe bibimbap, they also bring out nurungji for dessert.

Once you finish with the fragrant nurungji, the meal is over!
