Today, I’m continuing with another post that’s been sitting around for a while.

This is a review of Shinseung Banjeom at Pangyo Hyundai Department Store, which I visited last summer. Let’s get started?

The Shinseung Banjeom in Incheon Chinatown is famous, right?

I had never been able to visit because the line was always so long,

and I was curious about how delicious it could be.

That day, for some reason, there was no line, so I went in.

They also have alcoholic drinks.

Shinseung Banjeom is said to be famous for yuni jjajangmyeon,

but I ordered the Samseon Gan Jjajangmyeon.

My companion said they wanted rice,

so they ordered the Samseon Abalone Jjambbong Rice.

Warm tea, onions, and pickled radish

with black bean sauce as the basic setup.

The Samseon Abalone Jjambbong Rice came out first.

It had one large abalone in it, whole.

It’s not shown in the photo, but there was plenty of seafood

and one king shrimp as well.

A spicy, savory flavor. They also gave a generous amount of broth,

so it was perfect for pouring over rice.

It comes with a fried egg and lots of shredded cucumber

on top of the noodles served separately.

You just pour the jjajang sauce over it and mix well before eating.

Mixing it well with the yolk made it sweet and savory, and it was delicious.

Overall, the food was good,

but I found myself thinking, is this really worth waiting in line for..? It was that kind of place.

If there’s no wait, it’s worth visiting at least once!
