Today, I’m going to write about a genuine Jeju local favorite I visited during my last trip to Jeju, a true value-for-money spot!

Jeju Coco Bunsik ^^

I was so excited to see snow-covered Jeju

that I went there with a thrilled heart

right after getting off the planeㅋ_ㅋ!

This is the exterior of the Jeju local favorite Coco Bunsik,

which I visited in February 2021, last month :)

There are only three items:

kalguksu, yukgaejang, and bibimbap,

just these threeㅎㅎ

I’ll briefly explain along with the menu~

Kalguksu 5,000 won

Bibimbap 5,000 won

Bracken yukgaejang 5,000 won

Because I heard the kalguksu and yukgaejang were so delicious,

I visited with a real Jeju local friend who kept singing

praises of Jeju local favorite Coco Bunsik :)

I was already surprised enough that every menu item cost 5,000 won,

but until just a few years ago, everything on the menu

was sold for 3,500 won;;;

To think a restaurant like this exists these days....!

Actually, my friend who lives in Jeju said

it was a true Jeju local favorite, so they didn’t want it to become

known to people from the mainlandㅋㅋ

It was already crowded with Jeju locals,

but these days, because it has become widely known through social media,

people come from far away and there’s even a waiting time,

so they intentionally come after lunch hoursㅎㅎ

Three people visited in total, one man and two women,

and we ordered all three menu items.

The auntie serving us asked which menu item the man would eatㅎㅎ

When the man said kalguksu, the amount of kalguksu

that came out was really, really huge,

and all of us were surprised,

but apparently that’s this place’s special way of operating, Coco Bunsikㅋㅋ

One of the Jeju foods I missed the most after coming back to Seoul nafter this trip to Jeju was Jeju Coco Bunsik

The kalguksu, bracken yukgaejang, and bibimbap

were all so delicious that if I had missed even one,

I think I would have been really disappointed,,ㅎㅎ

If I absolutely had to pick the number one...

The top menu item at this Jeju local favorite is Coco Bunsik’s kalguksu!

That rich mushroom aroma is truly unforgettableㅜㅜ

Jeju local favorite Coco Bunsik is located near Jeju City Hall,

and there is a public parking lot nearby,

so it was convenient to go by car !

I would definitely visit again 200%!!
