[Samseong Station Restaurant] Premium Chinese Restaurant, Jjamppong and Jajangmyeon Spot ♥

These days, the cold winter has mostly passed, and the weather has become much warmer.

Still, the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, so please make sure to wear a coat in the morning and at night. :)

Today’s restaurant recommendation is Chai797, a place near Samseong Station ♥

Because it is a franchise, you can find it at various locations, not just in Samseong. This was my first visit, and it was a very satisfying experience!

Chai797 Samseong branch is located across from Korea City Air Terminal,

and it is also close to COEX, which many people know!

If you walk following the sign above the screen golf center,

you’ll find the entrance ^_^

When you go down the stairs and enter, you see a large entrance like this.

The interior felt quite neat and spacious.

The first thing I said right after being shown to our table was,

"Wow, the interior is so pretty."

That’s how unique and attractive the interior was. It looks much prettier in person, but it’s a secret that I’m not very good at capturing it in photos ㅜㅜ

We looked at the menu and thought about what to order. At first, we considered trying the course meal, but gave up. My friend and I don’t have very big appetites ㅜㅜ Originally, I also wanted to try the cold Chinese noodles, but since the signature jjamppong and jajangmyeon seemed like must-tries, we decided to order jjamppong, jajangmyeon, and plus guobaorou!

(Please note that the price range is definitely much higher than a typical Chinese restaurant.)

The first dish to come out was the guobaorou... wow...

I’m not very good with hard textures, so with guobaorou I often can’t really eat the hard parts and end up leaving them, but this one wasn’t hard at all! It was just completely chewy... chewy!

And that green chili went so well with the seasoning.

And the second dish was the jjamppong..!

The photo isn’t the best, but everything inside was really generous! The broth was delicious too.

Ugh, just looking at the photo makes my mouth water again..... It was the best.

And then came the jajangmyeon...!

We ordered the men’s jajangmyeon, and apparently the men’s version comes with that much meat. Just by the visuals alone, it really felt like this was not just an ordinary Chinese restaurant, but a premium one! ㅎㅎ

It was so good, so here are a few more photos! It was truly a very satisfying meal.

I didn’t get a photo after finishing, but we almost completely cleaned the plates of the guobaorou, jajangmyeon, and jjamppong.

If you visit here, make sure to try the guobaorou and jjamppong ♥

The jajangmyeon was of course tasty too, but compared to those two, it was somewhat ordinary in flavor (in my opinion).

If you want Chinese food and are looking for a place with a nice atmosphere, I recommend Chai797 ♥
