1. Ulthera Prime

Ulthera Prime is an upgraded version of Ulthera.

Ulthera Prime uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to deliver thermal energy to the SMAS layer, a fascial layer within the skin, for lifting.

The SMAS layer plays an important role in maintaining skin elasticity.

As aging progresses, this layer stretches, making the midface look longer and causing the deep cheek area to sag, which also makes the facial contour look uneven.

Ulthera Prime works by delivering thermal energy to this area and contracting the stretched tissue to create a lifting effect.

Unlike other HIFU lifting devices, Ulthera has the advantage of allowing treatment while viewing the inside of the skin with ultrasound.
