1. What is lip Rejuran?

Before talking about the effects and side effects of lip Rejuran, let’s talk about the procedure itself.

Lip Rejuran is a procedure that uses polynucleotide (PN) ingredients extracted from salmon DNA

by injecting them very finely under the lip mucosa to fundamentally improve dryness, wrinkles, dead skin, and lack of shine.

Because the lips have no sebaceous glands and a thin stratum corneum, they have limited ability to retain moisture.

So no matter how much moisturizer you apply, they dry out quickly and begin to flake.

In a recent study published in 2025, lip Rejuran was performed on 30 Korean participants.

Lip wrinkles and lip roughness were evaluated, and the wrinkle and roughness scores, which were 3 before the procedure, decreased to 1 after 9 weeks, showing improvement.
