What is the principle?
First, let’s take a close look at what InMode is.

InMode is a lifting procedure that uses radiofrequency energy and high-voltage electrical stimulation. It has two modes that can be switched depending on the desired effect.

The first is the fat-reduction mode. It is called FX mode.
The handpiece gently suctions the skin with vacuum pressure while delivering energy to the subcutaneous fat layer.
In the process, holes are created in the fat cell membrane, inducing the cells themselves to die.
The destroyed fat cells are then gradually cleared by the body’s immune system and excreted.
The second is the collagen regeneration mode. It is called Forma mode.
The handpiece gently delivers about 43 degrees Celsius of heat stimulation to the dermis, with the goal of promoting the production of collagen and elastin.
Just as muscle fibers regenerate after exercise and muscles become firmer, when the skin receives heat stimulation, it creates new collagen in the process of trying to repair itself.

In that way, skin elasticity is restored.

What happens if you only get 1 session?
During consultations, there are people who want to try just one session first but worry whether it will actually be effective.

In general, if this is your first time getting a lifting procedure, or if you are in your late 20s to early 30s and aging has not progressed much yet, trying one session first and then deciding afterward can be a very good approach.
After one session, you can check how your skin responds and evaluate the effect, then decide on the next step; there is still enough time.
However, as mentioned earlier, both the process of the skin handling fat cells and the process of collagen regeneration take time, so please keep in mind that you should not expect immediate results but rather observe the changes over time.

What happens if you get 3 or more sessions?
First, the answer to this question requires thinking about something called the 'cumulative effect.'
Our body consistently needs collagen to maintain the skin, and fat cells naturally increase again if you gain weight.
But getting InMode just once does not dramatically change this.
That is why people often recommend getting it 3 to 5 times at appropriate intervals; it is essentially about seeing cumulative effects while undergoing treatment.

In the case of FX mode, it is used intensively about 3 times within a certain period to quickly reduce fat, while Forma mode is understood as something you receive periodically to help rebuild collagen.
However, if the interval between treatments is too short and you receive them too frequently, it can place a burden on the skin and be inefficient.
On the other hand, if the interval is too long, the skin’s natural tendency to return to its original state in the meantime can reduce the effect, so it should be done at appropriate intervals.
