Hello, this is Merry Plastic Surgery Clinic, where it’s always a pleasure to meet you.
We are already nearing 2025 as 2024 comes to an end.
At the end of the year, when you look in the mirror, you may feel a little down, thinking, “I’m getting one year older.”
Today, I’d like to talk about how to turn back time,
and whether there are any secrets to making aging come more slowly.

Maintenance is the only way to go
You may think symptoms like skin sagging are only a concern for middle-aged and older adults,
but in fact, if you do not take steady care of your skin from your 20s onward, aging can come at you much more rapidly.
You need to start care ASAP!!
When you see celebrities in the media, they often look much younger than their age.
As expected, it seems that only consistent care can slow aging and help you stay youthful.
There are various methods to slow aging,
from Botox and fillers to numerous laser devices, thread lifting, and facelift surgery—there are many anti-aging treatments.
With so many options, it may be difficult to know which treatment is right for you.
Today, I’m going to explain step by step, from readers in their 20s who clicked on this post to those in their 60s and 70s.
The beginning of slow aging
Liftera 2 and Botox
Many people may think, “Slow aging in your 20s?”
After all, it’s an age that naturally has its own freshness, beauty, and charm.
But...
Even people in their 20s may need care because of their innate facial structure or skin characteristics.
Usually, it is more often due to acquired issues rather than that—for example, excessive weight fluctuations.
If you set a long-term plan and lose weight slowly over time, you are at an age when your skin recovers well, so there is usually no sagging.
But skin that has stretched due to short-term extreme dieting or procedures such as fat-dissolving injections or liposuction can sag.
Also, if your weight repeatedly goes up and down rapidly, the skin keeps stretching and recovering, which reduces elasticity.
But don’t worry too much!
Why do I recommend Liftera 2?
Because your skin still has good recovery ability at this age, instead of surgery,
you should manage it with simpler methods such as lasers and injectable treatments.

These days, various radiofrequency lasers and HIFU lasers have been developed.
Among the first well-known devices are Thermage and Ulthera, right?
Because these devices can be a financial burden for young working adults, I recommend the Liftera 2 laser for people who are just starting their careers.
Liftera 2 is a HIFU-type laser like Ulthera, but it has almost no pain and is more economical.

Be sure to keep up with Botox!
I also recommend getting Botox regularly, especially for the glabella and square jaw areas.
Botox is the most effective and affordable option for reducing muscle size.
Glabellar lines are often caused by the muscles used when frowning a lot or when your vision is poor, and they can make your expression look harsher.
Botox has the drawback of needing to be done regularly every 4–5 months,
but on the other hand, investing just three times a year can help prevent irreversible changes in your face.
If you consistently get glabella Botox, you can prevent deep vertical wrinkles.
And in the case of square jaw Botox, it is very effective when the lower jaw looks square and angular, or when you clench your jaw a lot while sleeping at night,
and it can help refine the face shape and also prevent damage to the jaw joint.
Therefore, I recommend getting glabella and square jaw Botox consistently starting in your 20s.
At Merry Plastic Surgery Clinic, we do not simply inject Botox into one glabella area or one jaw area.
We provide counseling for the face as a whole and perform Botox treatments designed to bring out the strengths of the facial shape and compensate for its weaknesses.
You may worry, “What if I develop resistance if I keep getting Botox from my 20s onward?”
The chance of resistance developing from getting it about three times every 4–5 months in a year is very low.
In addition, unlike using a high dose at once for calf or trapezius body Botox, the likelihood of resistance is low.
Still, if you are concerned, you can use a type B Botox such as Xeomin, which is less likely to cause resistance.
If you read this post,
shall we take out the 2025 calendar and mark the dates for your Botox injections?
Next, I’ll talk about strategies for your 30s.
