Densiti :: Procedure Process, Precautions, Combinations, Recommended Candidates

At our Slow Aging Clinic, we think about aging every day.

As skin elasticity decreases with age, many people become concerned about fine lines and sagging, and today I’d like to talk about

Densiti (radiofrequency, Thermage) procedures.

Densiti Classic

Densiti High

Even patients who have received radiofrequency procedures for a long time have recently often been looking for a “stronger effect.”

First, Densiti, which uses radiofrequency energy, delivers skin lifting and wrinkle improvement effects by utilizing radiofrequency thermal energy.

There are two main types of Densiti procedures.

Densiti Classic, which uses the existing monopolar radiofrequency principle,

and

Densiti High, which newly adds bipolar radiofrequency.

As is already well known, Densiti Classic uses a 5-pulse monopolar radiofrequency method to

deliver energy deep into the skin, induce collagen production, and improve fine lines and skin sagging.

On the other hand, Densiti High adds 1 pulse of bipolar radiofrequency to 4 pulses of monopolar radiofrequency,

and unlike the classic version, it shows an immediate firming and tightening effect right after the procedure.

In a study published in the journal Dermatologic Surgery, the Densiti High treatment group showed an average 25% improvement in skin elasticity indicators within one week, and after three months, collagen regeneration effects were reported to have improved by more than 30% compared with the existing monopolar method.

At our clinic, after carefully diagnosing each patient’s skin condition and concerns, we decide which treatment to perform.

Diagnosis using diagnostic devices is important, but it is also important to actually touch and examine the skin directly.

We also check what procedures the patient has had so far, whether the results were good, and whether there were any side effects or discomfort.

It takes some time, but after an in-person consultation, we recommend the most suitable option between Densiti Classic and High.

Personally, I always check how sensitive the patient is to pain, and how much pain they experienced when using other devices.

There are many devices in the world for slow aging, and more are continually being developed.

But

there are many people who cannot try new devices or procedures because of memories of pain from before.

That is truly, truly unfortunate...

So we recommend after evaluating both the needed effect and the patient’s pain threshold!

The preparation before the procedure and the procedure process are relatively simple.

After cleansing before the procedure and applying topical anesthetic ointment (if needed),

we perform a single treatment of 600 shots over the entire face in about 40 minutes.

Using Densiti’s distinctive 5-level cooling time control system and impedance feedback function,

we try to minimize skin damage and finish the procedure safely.

No matter how good and excellent a procedure is, side effects should not occur!

Densiti procedures are more cost-effective than Thermage, and the anti-aging effect lasts from a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of about 12 months.

In particular, it is effective for people with thin skin or little facial fat,

and if combined with ultrasound procedures such as Liftera or Ulthera, it can help define the facial line more clearly.

As aging progresses in East Asians, facial fat tends to decrease rapidly,

so radiofrequency care is essential.
