Everything you were curious about regarding natural adhesion, explained by Wink Plastic Surgery!

- Natural adhesion is a method in which multiple holes are made and a single thread is sewn continuously along the line, inducing natural adhesion between the skin and muscle, so there is a low chance of it coming undone again. In contrast, the general buried suture method makes three or four holes and secures the line with thread, so it relies only on the thread and may loosen over time.

- The natural adhesion procedure uses harmless thread without an incision, so there is no need for separate stitch removal, swelling is minimal, and recovery is quick.

- Natural adhesion is suitable for people with thin eyelid skin and no sagging tissue. If the skin is too thick, or there is severe ptosis, asymmetry, or a lot of fat, the incision method is more appropriate, and the procedure should be decided through consultation with medical staff based on the individual's eyes.

- The number of holes made during natural adhesion surgery is not important. In fact, having too many holes can cause scarring, and it does not affect the surgical result.
