안녕하세요 윙크성형외과 최승협원장입니다. Today, the topic we will look at is how to address an outer double eyelid with a thick front line.

A double eyelid commonly called an outer line refers to a double eyelid in which the front part of the line starts outside the skin rather than inside it.
The line is visible throughout the front and back, and it is commonly seen in eyes of non-East Asian ethnicities that do not have an epicanthal fold.

To do this, in most cases the front part of the double eyelid needs to be lowered, and usually the in-out line is lowered using an incision method that preserves the skin (also called the double-incision method).

To change a thick, heavy-looking outer line into an in-out line, an incision method is necessary. In some cases, ptosis correction may also be performed at the same time.

That concludes our look at how to lower the front line using the double-incision method.
