The cause of droopy eyes is not just a skin problem

Drooping eyelids or a cramped-looking eye shape

do not occur simply because the skin has become loose.

In reality, the following factors act together in combination.

• Tension and usage habits of the forehead muscles

• Eyebrow position and left-right balance

• Function of the muscle that opens the eyes (levator palpebrae superioris)

• Skin elasticity and thickness of the eyelids, and the degree of tissue sagging
