Makeover Project First Broadcast
Hello. I am Lim Pyeong-jin, CEO and chief surgeon of Our Plastic Surgery Clinic.
On January 10 at 8:00 PM,
MAKEMEGirl was first broadcast
on LG HelloVision The Life.
As introduced in the previous post,
MAKEMEGirl is a project that helps
women who are struggling with severe appearance-related complexes
that make everyday life difficult.
In the teaser video released before the broadcast,
when the addition of the MC trio Monica, Lee Yuri, and Um Ji-yoon
was revealed,
it drew a lot of attention and became a hot topic.

Our Plastic Surgery MAKEMEGirl Episode 1 Review
The first episode featured a woman who was struggling with a body weight of over 130 kg
and her natural appearance.
She was introduced by the nickname “Not Enough 24 Hours.”
The main participant was living such a busy daily life
that she had to split even her sleeping time.
Her daily schedule was so complicated that she kept records not only by the month
but also by the day,
showing a remarkable level of diligence.
Looking into her routine,
she woke up at 6 a.m. and kept preparing for employment
till 2 a.m. the next day without stopping.
There was a reason why she lived so diligently.
After repeated failures in finding a job,
the participant’s main source of income
was day labor part-time work.
Without a stable job,
she made a living through daily wages.
Even at the age of 31,
with failures repeating over and over,
she came to think the reason was her unattractive appearance.
Although she was attending a prestigious university that anyone would recognize by name,
had excellent academic performance,
and had taken part in around 50 extracurricular activities,
her difficult situation continued,
so she decided that improving her life through a change in appearance was necessary.
As a child, she was severely obese,
and due to bullying and repeated harassment from friends,
she lacked confidence and found it difficult to live a normal school life.
For “Not Enough 24 Hours,”
who had long struggled with appearance-related complexes,
the medical staff at Our Plastic Surgery Clinic
and experts from each field came together.
First, her cheekbones, which protruded more than average, and her protruding mouth gave a strong impression,
so facial contouring and double-jaw surgery were performed
to improve the cheekbones, square jaw, and chin area into a smooth U-shaped line,
making her overall impression softer.
Also, since she had undergone rapid weight loss from an extremely obese state of 130 kg,
a lift procedure was performed on the abdomen, arms, and chest
to address the sagging abdomen, drooping breasts, and loose skin.
An facelift procedure that could firmly tighten the most important area, the face,
was also performed.
The participant’s appearance, revealed through the makeover,
left all the cast members unable to hide their surprise.
