Hello. This is Woori Plastic Surgery.
Among those considering liposuction, there are many people who want to see results quickly because they have a wedding photoshoot coming up. However, liposuction is not a surgery that is completed immediately; it requires time for recovery and for the contours to stabilize. That is why choosing the timing well is very important. Today, we will look at the optimal time before a wedding for arm liposuction so that the results can turn out well.
Three Factors That Determine Arm Liposuction Results

Recovery after liposuction varies slightly depending on the area and the person’s constitution, but there are three common processes.

- Bruising
Because the blood vessels cannot all be avoided individually during the fat removal process, bruises of varying sizes may appear. In most cases, bruising almost disappears after about 2 weeks, and even darker bruises are mostly resolved within a month.

- Scarring
The incision is very small, but during the first 2 to 3 months, it may look red or slightly raised. However, there is no need to worry because it gradually fades with ointment / laser / injection care and can be easily covered by clothing or makeup.

- Swelling
The major swelling right after surgery subsides over 2 to 4 weeks, and after that, the remaining minor swelling gradually settles.
Arm Liposuction: 3 Months Before

For good arm liposuction results, it is most realistic to allow about 3 months until the final line settles, since the removed fat leaves space that needs time to reattach closely to the skin and muscles.
Would It Be Okay to Have Surgery in Summer?

Many people ask, “Won’t it be hot to wear compression garments in the summer?” People who have surgery in the summer do feel hot, but if you want to create a beautiful line for fall/winter, managing it in the summer is the most strategic choice. For good arm liposuction results, the key is to plan the surgery with enough time for the results to settle beautifully.
A beautiful line is not created in an instant, but the right timing and an accurate surgical plan can make a bigger difference. If you have questions about arm liposuction results, please contact us via KakaoTalk.
