Those who are interested in anti-aging treatments may have heard of Renuva, a treatment that has recently become popular in Hollywood.

It has been attracting attention because Lindsay Lohan and Anne Hathaway are said to have undergone the treatment recently in Hollywood :)

Renuva is a non-surgical injectable made from an allograft adipose matrix extracted from human tissue. Its ingredients include collagen, growth factors, and proteins. It has received FDA approval, and the product’s safety is guaranteed. In fact, it has been used in the United States for several years.

When Renuva is introduced into the body, it acts as a scaffold and helps the body produce its own fat. Since it is replaced with the patient’s own fat, one of its major advantages is that its effects can be semi-permanent.

However, side effects can rarely occur, including an immune response, bruising, swelling, or flushing.

Unfortunately, Renuva treatment is currently not available in Korea.

That does not mean there is no alternative at all. This is because Elravie Re2O is available.

What is Elravie Re2O?

Elravie Re2O is a product focused on the regeneration of the patient’s own dermis.

It directly introduces pure dermal components extracted from human tissue. Existing collagen products were extracted from pigs, but this is the first skin booster to introduce human-derived ingredients :)

The extracellular matrix (ECM) is what gives our skin its firm structure. True regeneration can be said to take place only when the matrix itself is strong.

Fibroblasts play an important role in skin regeneration. They produce collagen, elastin, proteins, and other components of the extracellular matrix, playing a key role in maintaining the skin’s structure and elasticity :)

Elravie Re2O is made from acellular allogeneic dermis, with factors that could trigger an immune response removed. When injected into the dermal layer, it activates endothelial progenitor cells and induces dermal regeneration through angiogenesis, which may make the dermis itself appear younger. It also supplies components of the extracellular matrix (ECM) mentioned above, so the skin can become firmer.

It is also a donated dermal component that has already been used in plastic surgery for decades. Its safety has been demonstrated through certification under the strict regulations of the AATB (American Association of Tissue Banks) and the FDA (for raw materials) :)

The applications of Elravie Re2O seem to vary depending on age.

For people in their 20s and 30s, treatment aimed at improving pores, skin tone, skin texture, and scars may produce very good results.

For people in their 40s and older, a noticeable reduction in wrinkles and improvement in elasticity may be expected.

It is also expected to work effectively on thin areas such as under the eyes and the neck, although further clinical studies will be needed.
