Face and body lines need to be managed year-round to maintain them.

I also make sure to pay close attention to this area and take care of it consistently.

Today, I’ll explain Ontanium, a combination treatment of Onda lifting and Titanium lifting, which is one of my favorite procedures.

What Is Onda Lifting?

Onda lifting is a lifting treatment that uses microwaves, also known as extremely high-frequency waves. Onda lifting is a device made by an Italian company, and it is widely used overseas for body treatments.

In Korea, however, there is greater demand for facial treatments than body treatments, so a separate handpiece for the face was developed when it was introduced here. At our clinic as well, we use Onda effectively for both the face and body.

Onda lifting uses two handpieces: 3 mm and 7 mm.

The 3 mm handpiece is mainly used to improve overall firmness in the face, while the 7 mm handpiece is used to reduce the fat layer and create more defined and smooth contours.

When refining the body line, we use the 7 mm handpiece :)

Based on my experience performing the treatment, except for people whose cheeks are sunken due to having very little cheek fat, it is extremely important to refine the contours with the 7 mm handpiece. This is what helps establish the overall line :)

One of the most important features of Onda lifting is that it causes almost no pain.

When you consider getting Ultherapy or Thermage, you usually worry about the pain first, right? Some people even receive the treatment under sedation.

Onda lifting does not require any anesthesia. It is virtually painless, which is why most people are satisfied while receiving the treatment!

However, the fact that it is painless does not mean that it is ineffective. Despite causing little pain, it offers good results, and it is one of the treatments that most clients return to receive again.

Side effects generally do not occur in most cases, but it is known that there is a risk of burns if excessive heat is concentrated in one area. However, this is a factor that the practitioner can adequately control, so you likely do not need to worry too much :)

Titanium Lifting

Titanium lifting is already widely known as a celebrity lifting treatment. Its immediate tightening effect is extremely strong, so it is one of the treatments that many celebrities and models actually receive before photo shoots.

Titanium lifting emits three wavelengths: 755 nm, 810 nm, and 1064 nm. Each of these three wavelengths penetrates to a different depth, allowing energy to be evenly delivered throughout all layers of the skin.

There are two modes: Stack mode and SHR mode.

Stack mode releases energy in a stacked form, as the name suggests. Since the energy is delivered strongly, it is used to shape the overall facial contours through the contraction of the retaining ligaments that connect the bones to the skin.

SHR mode disperses the energy over the treatment area. This creates a strong skin-tightening effect along with an overall increase in firmness in the dermal layer.

Titanium is clearly the most effective treatment for Brightening and Tightening :)

Onda lifting refines the facial line by reducing unnecessary fat, while Titanium lifting improves skin texture and tone and provides overall dermal tightening, creating an ultimate synergistic effect.

Also, since numbing cream is not required, you can think of it as a lifting treatment that even people sensitive to pain can comfortably receive.

Onda + Titanium, or Ontanium lifting, is actually the treatment we perform most often at our clinic. If you have not tried it yet, I recommend giving it a try at least once :)
