I Performed a BBL Laser Treatment for My Mother’s Hand-Dorsum Solar Lentigines - Larian Cheongdam Clinic

Today, I’d like to share a treatment I personally performed for my mother.

My mother had always been concerned about solar lentigines on the back of her hands.

She was also worried that it might hurt if she actually got the treatment.

She had heard from people around her that laser treatments hurt, and since her skin had become more sensitive with age, she had been unable to make an easy decision.

I regularly perform BBL laser treatments for patients and know very well that they involve little pain and are effective at improving pigmentation, but my mother was still scared.

I thought this would be a good opportunity to reassure her by treating her myself, so I brought my mother in and performed the procedure for her.

It doesn’t hurt at all, does it?

She was surprised and said that she only felt a slight warm sensation. The treatment time was also short, about 10–15 minutes, so she was able to receive it without much 부담, and I think she felt even more reassured because I performed it myself.

We still need 2–3 more sessions to see the final result, but even after just one session, her solar lentigines improved a lot and she is pleased with the result!

After about a week, the pigmented area came off like a thin scab, and it was clearly visible that it had lightened.

Seeing her look at the back of her hands in the mirror and smile made me feel very rewarded.

Most of all, she is highly satisfied because she received the treatment without pain. She is already looking forward to the next session and says she will recommend it to people around her as well.
