For a receded chin, the chin tip is cut horizontally and advanced forward before being fixed. Third, for a long chin, the middle bone is removed through horizontal osteotomy to reduce the length of the front chin, after which it is fixed. In the case of a short chin, the wide area is narrowed and moved downward to correct the short chin.
