[Column] Can Sunken Eyelids Be Improved Too?

Anyway, it’s nice to greet you again after a long time...

Today’s topic is sunken eyelids ~~~

Structurally, in East Asian upper eyelids, the orbital fat tends to protrude more downward,

while in Western eyelid structures, the amount of orbital fat is smaller and limited to the upper area.

You can see that this area appears sunken inward, right?

This is what causes the eyelid to look sunken / like an eye hole ~~

As we age, the fat in the upper eyelids also gradually decreases and recedes, ,

and then a double eyelid that didn’t exist may appear,

a preexisting double eyelid may become higher, or the sunken eyelid may suddenly look more severe ~~

In other words, even though the person is East Asian, like the Western eyelid structure in the illustration above,

among those who originally had little upper eyelid fat,

the fat keeps decreasing and makes the area look deeply hollow ~~

Then how can this sunken eyelid be improved ??

If the problem is that there is not enough “upper eyelid fat,” then we just need to address that ~!!

Disadvantages: If too much is injected, unevenness or bulging may occur.

To prevent this, a two-step method is sometimes used, with a tiny first graft,

followed by an additional second graft.

Advantages: It can simultaneously improve asymmetry in an existing double eyelid or design-related dissatisfaction,

and it can be resolved in one step without fat grafting

Disadvantages: If you do not want a double eyelid, do not want a change,

or do not want a scar to be created
