Hello, this is AB Plastic Surgery.
Today, together with Director Shin Hee-ji,
let's take a look at the difference between skin boosters and skin botox.

The definition of a skin booster is still not clearly established,
but it generally refers to various nutrient ingredients that are directly injected into or delivered into the skin
to promote skin regeneration and recovery by supplying beneficial components the skin already has.
Unlike cosmetics,
because it is injected directly into the skin,
it can bring fast and immediate improvement.
It also lasts a long time, making it a suitable procedure for busy modern people and office workers,
and well-known treatments such as Rejuran and exosomes are also types of skin boosters.

Skin botox has the word "skin" in it, so it feels similar to a skin booster,
but in fact, it is a type of botox.
Dermotoxin, mesotoxin, and skin botox all mean the same thing,
and it is a procedure that injects botox shallowly into the dermis layer of the skin to improve fine wrinkles,
decrease sebum production to reduce pore size,
and smooth out skin texture.

Skin boosters vary depending on the specific treatment,
but there is no clearly defined duration of effect.
Usually, 2 to 3 sessions at one-month intervals are recommended,
and when done this way, the skin gets the most boosting effect,
after which it is fine to gradually extend the intervals.
Skin botox varies depending on the concentration, but the effect usually lasts about 2 to 3 months,
and we recommend treatment intervals of about 2 to 3 months as well.

Skin botox does not make major changes to facial expressions, so it is good for naturally correcting fine wrinkles,
but if facial expression wrinkles are quite strong, fine wrinkles tend to come back more easily,
so we recommend more frequent treatment, about every 1 to 2 months.

It depends on which booster it is,
but the order of pain is Rejuran Healer > skin botox > skin booster.

It is fine to do both at once,
but since these are painful procedures, if you are in a lot of pain, the practitioner may also hesitate,
so for those sensitive to pain, we recommend doing them separately or under sedation.
If done at the same time, you may feel a more synergistic effect.

If your skin is very dry and feels tight or itchy due to inner dryness, we recommend a skin booster more.
For those concerned about enlarged pores and deepening fine wrinkles, we would recommend skin botox.
