Hello, this is Dr. Jo Dong-pil, Director of AB Plastic Surgery.
I will answer the questions you have been wondering about.
Q. After contouring surgery, my facial fat seems a little more noticeable, so I want a lifting procedure. When can I get one? Can I know the timing for laser lifting procedures or thread lifting surgery?
A.
After contouring surgery, the major swelling usually goes down significantly after about 1 month, or in some cases up to 3 months.
A little swelling can make the face look younger and cuter, so in fact, many people do not feel the need for a lifting procedure.
However, as about 3 months pass and the swelling subsides, many people feel that they want to refine the facial fat a little.
So, laser lifting and thread lifting can usually be done after 3 months without any major issues.
