Hello, I am Director Jo Dong-pil of AB Plastic Surgery.
I will answer the questions you have been curious about.
Q. After contour surgery, when can I start skin clinic care or regular Thai & aroma massage? Do I need to be careful for the rest of my life?
A. In everyday life, there are many cases where people receive facial skin care or regular aroma and Thai massages.
However, after facial contour surgery, people become curious about whether they can receive these treatments.
Usually, general massage on the facial area is not a big problem after about one month, and for massage techniques that involve lymphatic drainage, we usually recommend waiting about three months.
Body Thai or aroma massages seem fine to receive starting about two weeks after surgery.
After six months from surgery, your condition is not significantly different from before surgery, so doing the same things you did before surgery is completely fine.
There is no need to go through the trouble of being careful for the rest of your life.
There may be differences depending on the type of surgery and the individual, so I recommend making a decision through an accurate consultation with a specialist about your own condition.
