Hello, this is Director Jo Dongpil of AB Plastic Surgery.
I will answer the questions you have been curious about.
Q. Is it okay to get orthodontic treatment after contouring surgery? If so, how long should I wait before starting?
AB. Orthodontic treatment after contouring surgery is generally not a problem, so you can proceed with it.
Usually, about one month after contouring surgery, there are no issues with opening the mouth, so treatment can be started after one month.
Of course, in some cases, mouth opening may take a little longer. Even in such cases, in most instances, opening the mouth is possible without problems within three months, so orthodontic treatment can be started afterward.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to leave a comment. Thank you.
