Hello, this is AB Plastic Surgery Clinic.
I wrote this post to answer some of the questions many of you have been asking.
Q. I had a Hiko procedure done, and if I later have the threads removed and get nose surgery, is that considered a revision surgery? ㅠ How long after Hiko can I have nose surgery?
AB. In the case of Hiko, it is a procedure rather than a surgery, so it is not considered a revision surgery.
However, there are cases where the threads do not dissolve and must be removed, or
cases where they dissolve but adhere to the surrounding tissue and remain as a lump.
Because of this, an additional process of foreign body removal may be needed.
Nose surgery is possible at any time after Hiko, regardless of how much time has passed.
Hiko does not last long, and the only way to address structural anatomical issues is through nose surgery,
so rather than waiting unnecessarily, we recommend getting a consultation.
