Q.
If the ribcage is small, will the cup size be larger for a smaller person even if the same breast implant is inserted?

AB.
This is a question about differences in bra size according to ribcage size in breast surgery.
To give the conclusion first, when an implant with the same cc volume is inserted, if the ribcage is smaller, the breast size becomes relatively larger compared to the underbust circumference, so the bra size becomes larger.
For example, when an implant in the 350cc range is inserted, a woman with a larger ribcage may be around 85B~C, whereas a woman with a smaller ribcage may be around 65D.
(This is a simple example for understanding, so the postoperative cup size varies from patient to patient.)
However, when the ribcage is small, the breast width is reduced, so even if an implant in a similar volume range is inserted, there are limits to using a wider implant, and it may be unavoidable to use a narrower implant with greater projection.

Thank you.
