Hello, this is AB Plastic Surgery.
I will answer the questions you have been wondering about.
Q.
Hello. I have a question about breast implants.
Will Mentor’s newly released Mentor Boost be a good fit for sagging breasts?
I recently lost quite a bit of weight, so my breasts have become a little loose and less firm, and I’m wondering if it would be okay.

A.
Hello.
First, our AB Plastic Surgery uses Sebbin, Motiva, and Mentor implants, and we perform breast augmentation tailored to each individual according to the patient’s case.
The Mentor MemoryGel Boost implant was developed in 2022 as the third implant after Mentor Smooth (Mentor Classic) and Mentor Xtra, and it was launched in Korea last month (November 2023).
Its key feature is that it increases form stability compared with the existing Mentor MemoryGel implant. The molecular structure of the gel is denser, which increases cohesiveness.
The key point of the MemoryGel Boost implant is that it maintains Mentor’s greatest strength, “natural feel” (naturalness and softness), while enhancing elasticity, that firm, springy feel.
It does not simply feel like a bouncy ball.. It is a bit difficult to describe in words, but if I had to put it into terms, it would be a soft elasticity.
Then let’s look at which patients the “Mentor Boost” may be beneficial for.
People whose skin tissue is too thin, so they are concerned about rippling with smooth implants, but do not want to give up volume
People with a long upper body and breasts that are generally positioned lower overall (the implant shifts the center of gravity of the entire breast upward, helping to balance the body shape)
People whose breast tissue has overall sagged after childbirth/breastfeeding and whose upper breast volume is relatively weaker
People who want as much volume as possible with a soft implant, but whose implant outline is likely to show through if they use the existing Xtra High type
People whose breast tissue is somewhat firm or tough and has low expandability, such as constricted/tubular breasts or pointed breasts
People who want to create the deepest possible cleavage in the upper area for the same implant volume (helped by the Boost’s good upper pole retention)
To think about it simply,
Mentor Boost may be helpful for those who want to have as much upper breast volume as possible and for women whose breasts have lost firmness and want to add a more elastic feel.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to leave a comment and I will answer.
Thank you.
