Hello. I’m planning to have breast surgery, haha.

I’ve been told my rib cage is wide. Is it better to have a wide one or a narrow one?

And is a sunken chest better? I’d like to know what kind of rib cage shape is best.

1. Rather than a small rib cage, it is better to have a broad and gentle chest rib cage distribution.

🍕 First of all, the chest rib cage needs to be a certain width for the shape to come out well!

Because it is easier to place an implant with enough width, it tends to create a look that is more natural while also allowing the volume to change dramatically.

If the chest rib cage is narrow, then if you add a lot of volume, the implant has to protrude relatively farther forward, so it is easier for the result to look less natural. 😥

2. Patients with a flat and gentle rib cage shape are better.

🍕 A balanced rib cage development means that there is no especially protruding chest or sunken chest, and the spine is properly positioned with little left-right deviation.!

With a protruding chest or a cylindrical chest rib cage, the cleavage does not form beautifully, and a wide-set breast shape tends to appear. 😥

On the other hand, a sunken chest can make the nipples appear to come inward when a large amount is added, or it can make it difficult to achieve a well-defined side breast shape. 😥

Also, if the protrusion of the breastbone differs between the two sides, it looks less attractive. If the degree is mild, it can be adjusted by the protrusion of the implant, but if it is severe, there are inevitably limits.
