Hello, this is AB Plastic Surgery!
Today, let’s take a look at a refined nose surgery case.

*The surgical result may vary depending on the individual’s condition.
Today, we’ll take time to look at what kinds of effects and changes can be created through before-and-after photos of nose surgery.
The patient in the photo above came to our clinic because her nose was generally small and her rounded nasal tip was a complex for her, so she wanted a nose surgery with height but a refined look.
The nose shape she wanted was a straight-but-slightly-curved line like Haerin from NewJeans, with a nasal bridge that was not very high but a defined tip.
She also said that rather than something too glamorous, she hoped to keep a natural look that suited her face, so we decided to proceed that way.

From the side, the nose was generally low, slightly short, and had a slight hump.
After surgery, the desired nose shape was a straight-but-slightly-curved line: the bridge would not be too high, but the starting point of the bridge would have a slight curve,
then smoothly extend into a straight line.
Because the nose was very small and the skin was tight, we decided to use rib cartilage to create a sturdy support for the tip,
and since the patient wanted to use her own cartilage, we harvested cartilage from the right rib.

This photo was taken one week after surgery.
We made an incision of about 2 cm at the 7th rib on the right side and harvested just over 3 cm of rib cartilage, then carefully shaped it to create the nasal support structure,
and to improve the rounded tip (bulbous nose), we removed some soft tissue beneath the nasal tip skin.
Since the skin was not very thick, we conservatively removed tissue in order to avoid creating a pinched nose.

Photos taken before surgery, one week after surgery, and one month after surgery.
The patient also underwent under-eye fat repositioning, canthoplasty, and fat grafting to the entire face, so there is some bruising.
From the front, you can see that the nose looks more lifted, and from the upward-facing photo, you can see that the nasal tip has become much higher.

We also corrected the slight hump well and covered it with an implant to create a smooth nasal line.
The implant was sculpted to match the patient’s nose size and shape, in line with the elevated nasal tip.
As you can see in the photos, the starting point of the nasal bridge has a slight curve, but as it comes downward, it creates a straight-but-smooth line,
and you can see a bridge line that connects naturally from the glabella.
The patient did not want a nose shape that was too sharp from the side, so we reinforced the tissue above and below the tip
to help create a nasal tip with a natural curve.

When the patient removed the splint one week after surgery and saw the shape, she was satisfied and happy, which was rewarding for me as well.
I told her that as the swelling goes down, the overall line and appearance would become more natural and better suit her face, and we parted on a positive note.
In particular, nose surgery is a procedure that can greatly change one’s image, so many people are likely planning it.
For a refined nose surgery, preoperative consultation is the most important, so rather than just worrying about it at home,
please visit AB Plastic Surgery and consult with me about a refined nose surgery
to create a nose line that suits you.
Thank you for reading. This was AB Plastic Surgery.

Results vary by individual, and through an accurate consultation, you can check the procedure result that is appropriate for you.
