Hello, this is AB Plastic Surgery.
Today, we will look at a case of someone who underwent eye surgery through before-and-after comparison.
This patient had previously undergone buried suture double eyelid surgery, but if you look at the preoperative photos, the double eyelid line is a little low and the inner part of the line is buried in an inline shape. The patient wanted eyes that looked larger and clearer overall, so we decided to raise the line slightly and perform overall canthoplasty procedures (inner, outer, and lower canthoplasty).

Before surgery / one week after (non-incisional eye correction + epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty)
"Postoperative photos may differ from reality due to the shooting environment, lighting, makeup, and other factors.
Results vary by individual, and through accurate consultation, please check the procedure results that are suitable for you."
Additional factors considered while planning the surgery were that the space between the eyes and eyebrows was narrow, so the line could not be raised too much; the outer corners of the eyes were angled upward, so they needed to be softened and lowered slightly; and although the skin was somewhat thick, the existing buried suture line was well maintained, so the method would be buried suture, but the strength of eye opening needed to be well secured.

One week after (non-incisional eye correction + epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty)
If you look at the photos after surgery, the horizontal length of the eyes has increased through canthoplasty, making the eyes themselves look more refreshing, and the previously slightly wide-looking distance between the eyes has also narrowed, creating a more balanced appearance. In addition, by performing lateral canthoplasty, the outer corners of the eyes were slightly lowered, resulting in a softer impression.
In cases like this, where the double eyelid line is raised or eye correction is performed to increase the vertical height of the eyes, the eyes’ horizontal and vertical expansion can be balanced only when canthoplasty is properly combined, depending on the shape of the eyes.

The eyes are the area we look at first and most often when meeting someone. That is why surgery must be performed with greater precision, and the surgical plan must also be carefully established by comprehensively considering the structure of the eyes, the looseness and thickness of the eyelid skin, and differences in the strength of eye opening. No two pairs of eyes are the same, and even the two eyes of one person are different, so a more detailed consultation is especially necessary. Rather than worrying alone about which procedure is right for your eyes, please feel free to visit us anytime, resolve your questions, and plan together with us.
