�0b If you have double eyelid surgery without an incision, it is more likely to come undone than with an incisional method. However, in most cases, it does not come undone.

This is because the non-incisional method provides slightly less fixation than the incisional method, so for eyes that seem likely to come undone easily, we do not recommend it in the first place.

Because it is performed only on patients who have already been screened for suitability, the likelihood of it coming undone can be considered even lower.

For eyes that clearly seem likely to lose the fold once it is created—such as those with thick skin, a lot of fat, and weak eye-opening strength—there is no choice of the non-incisional method.
