The patient was concerned about having a dull bulbous nose and a somewhat androgynous impression.

Because the forehead protruded, the bridge of the nose looked relatively low, so it was important to naturally raise it

and soften the line from the forehead to the nose into a more feminine contour.

From the side, there was a dorsal hump, so correcting this into a smooth, straight line was also important in this case.

According to the CT results, the septum was small and deviated, making the rhinoplasty relatively difficult.

Since the patient had a round face shape, controlling the length of the nose, which appeared somewhat short, and the height of the nasal bridge was key in maintaining balance across the face.

So first, we used a silicone implant of appropriate height for the bridge of the nose,

filling in the depressed area between the forehead and the nose to create a feminine line from the glabella to the tip of the nose.

We also smoothed the dorsal hump by adjusting the shape of the implant.

In addition, autologous rib rhinoplasty not only firmly supports the nose tip correction surgery using cartilage,

but also adds volume to the columella, creating a beautiful columellar line.

Through nose tip correction surgery, we improved the shape with cartilage binding + partial soft tissue removal,

and with septal cartilage-based tip refinement and bulbous nose correction, we completed a refined yet not overly pointed nose tip.

We also performed lateral osteotomy to correct the deviated nasal bridge and enhance the light-and-shadow definition of the bridge from the front.

☑️ 1 week after surgery

Because the nose surgery, eye surgery, and facial contouring surgery were performed together, some swelling had to be taken into account, but there was almost no bruising around the nose.

Compared with the preoperative nose, a clear sense of dimension and a smooth, feminine nasal line stand out.

Compared with before, it is also noticeable that the impression of an upturned nose was significantly improved thanks to the dorsal hump correction surgery.

Many people worry about swelling after autologous rib rhinoplasty.

When the patient came in, there were no signs of tip drooping or any other changes,

so it was good to see that they were continuing to live with a beautiful nasal shape.
