[M Medical] AB Plastic Surgery Signs an MOU with Gwangdong Hospital

AB Plastic Surgery announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation with Gwangdong Hospital at “Medical Korea 2026,” held last month at COEX in Seoul.

This agreement was established to build a system for clinical cooperation based on the medical capabilities each institution possesses, and to improve the quality of medical services while creating a patient-centered care environment. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both institutions, including Director Ahn Seung-hyun of AB Plastic Surgery, and discussions were held on future directions for cooperation and operational plans.

Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to continue mutual cooperation centered on establishing a patient referral and linkage system, exchanging medical information and technology, promoting academic exchange and joint research, and cooperating to improve the quality of medical services.

Gwangdong Hospital is a medical institution that provides integrated treatment system medical services based on cooperation between Korean medicine and Western medicine, and it offers patient-tailored treatment through collaboration across various departments. AB Plastic Surgery continues to lead in the field based on its accumulated clinical experience and expertise in plastic surgery.

As leading institutions in their respective fields, the two organizations are expected to establish an organic cooperative system based on their medical capabilities and infrastructure, enabling more systematic medical services as well as tangible cooperative outcomes.

Director Ahn Seung-hyun of AB Plastic Surgery said, “Through this agreement, we expect to combine the strengths of a plastic surgery clinic and an integrated medicine-based hospital to provide more systematic and safe medical services,” adding, “We will continue to improve patient satisfaction and strengthen the quality of medical services through ongoing cooperation with various medical institutions.”

He added, “AB Plastic Surgery provides customized plastic surgery medical services based on a systematic care system and medical staff with expertise across all areas, including eyes, nose, facial contouring, and lifting, and it continues to expand its medical network through cooperation with medical institutions in Korea and abroad.”

Meanwhile, at “Medical Korea,” where the MOU signing ceremony with Gwangdong Hospital was held, AB Plastic Surgery obtained KAHF certification designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, proving that it possesses medical services and technology that meet international standards.
