AB Plastic Surgery Clinic Introduces Metacell... Designated as an Advanced Regenerative Medicine Practice Institution

AB Plastic Surgery Clinic announced on the 24th that it has introduced the autologous blood-based solution “Metacell” and will begin operating related medical services.

Metacell is operated using components derived from the patient’s own blood. Medical staff will comprehensively assess the patient’s skin condition and characteristics, as well as the purpose of treatment, before determining whether it is appropriate to use.

AB Plastic Surgery Clinic recently obtained the Korea Accreditation for Hospitals Serving Foreign Patients (KAHF), an accreditation overseen by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

This accreditation is granted following a comprehensive evaluation of patient safety, the medical service operating system, treatment procedures, facilities, and the environment.

In addition, the clinic was designated as an Advanced Regenerative Medicine Practice Institution. This designation is granted after an assessment of relevant requirements, including facilities and equipment, specialized personnel, management systems, and ethical standards.

Based on the operating system established through these accreditations and designations, the clinic plans to operate medical services in the field of regenerative medicine in stages.

Whether the treatment is appropriate for an individual patient will be determined after an assessment of the patient’s condition and a medical consultation.
