[Medisobija News] AB Plastic Surgery to Host an International Lifting Symposium This August

AB Plastic Surgery announced that it will host the “IFAAS (International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science) International Academic Symposium on Lifting” this August. The lifting symposium is an IFAAS program that AB Plastic Surgery has continued for three consecutive years since holding the first event in March 2024. It covers major subspecialties of plastic surgery and provides advanced procedural training for medical professionals from around the world.

IFAAS is an international academic symposium where leading medical professionals from around the world gather to exchange advanced techniques and clinical expertise. It is organized around the introduction of the latest techniques, the development of global networks, and hands-on training based on live surgery, and is regarded as one of the internationally recognized academic conferences in the field of plastic and aesthetic medicine.

In particular, AB Plastic Surgery is one of the few plastic surgery institutions in Korea to have independently hosted IFAAS for three consecutive years. It has established itself as an “educational hub” where medical professionals from overseas visit in person to learn surgical techniques. At the previous event, medical professionals from several countries, including Japan, Australia, and Taiwan, reportedly participated as observers and trainees.

At the lifting symposium this August, Dr. Yeonwoo Jeong, director of AB Plastic Surgery, will serve as a speaker.

Dr. Yeonwoo Jeong will personally conduct lectures and live surgery sessions for visiting medical professionals, drawing on his clinical experience and expertise in lifting and facelift procedures.
