[Rapportian] AB Plastic Surgery Introduces Next-Generation Nasal Implant Designed to Enhance the Safety of Revision Rhinoplasty

AB Plastic Surgery announced that it has introduced “Moriet,” a nasal implant that can be used for rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty.

According to the hospital, Moriet was designed with the structure of existing nasal implants in mind, and its distinguishing feature is the application of a precision texturing process.

The company explained that the implant’s surface is microscopically processed and designed with consideration for its contact characteristics with surrounding tissue.

Moriet also incorporates a wing-shaped support structure that takes the shape of the nasal bones into account. The hospital stated that the product was designed so that this structure can help maintain the implant’s position.

AB Plastic Surgery said that, during the preoperative consultation process, it checks the patient’s nasal structure and tissue condition through imaging tests such as 3D CT, explains the characteristics of the implant and the surgical methods, and then establishes a surgical plan.

Kim Ju-yeon, director of AB Plastic Surgery, said, “Revision rhinoplasty can involve tissue conditions and anatomical circumstances that differ from those in the initial surgery, so it is important to thoroughly review the surgical plan. We determine the appropriate surgical method by comprehensively considering the patient’s condition, the purpose of the surgery, and the characteristics of the implant.”

She continued, “Moriet is a nasal implant that incorporates a precision texturing process and a wing-shaped structure. Going forward, we plan to continue providing care by comprehensively reviewing each patient’s anatomical characteristics and surgical plan and offering a range of implant options.”
