Anyone would try to make efforts to live their life better. Those efforts are not the same for everyone; each person looks for a method based on their own concerns and tries to put it into practice. Of course, not everything in the world goes in the direction we want, so there were times when I worried so much about what to do about the things right in front of me.
Especially for women who have breast hypertrophy, there were even more things to be mindful of. There is a vague image that if the bust size is large and full, it looks good and can fully show feminine beauty, but when it is excessively large beyond an appropriate level, it can cause so much inconvenience in daily life. This condition was called breast hypertrophy.
What method is right for me?

In the case of an overly large bust, the weight is also greater, so the body lives while constantly bearing a burden. It is similar to always carrying a heavy backpack. Because of this, many people experience pain in various areas, starting from the shoulders and neck and extending to the lower back. To hide this very large bust, or because of the weight, people may unconsciously keep their bodies hunched or bent forward.
As a result, posture can become distorted and body shape can also change. For that reason, a more fundamental improvement is needed. What is often mentioned here is breast reduction surgery. With the proper method, an incision is made, excessively developed breast tissue is removed and repositioned, and a smaller, more attractive bust is created. At this time, there were three main incision methods.
These are called the O-shaped incision, vertical incision, and J-shaped incision. For breasts with good skin elasticity, the vertical incision is recommended, while breasts with poor elasticity and significant sagging are recommended to undergo the J-shaped incision.
How does it proceed?

The O-shaped incision method was not mentioned among the recommendations above. Originally, the O-shaped pattern can be said to be the traditional method for breast reduction, and it had long been regarded as the standard approach.
However, the scar shaped like the Hangul letter O—made by circling around the areola, then going vertically downward and drawing a large horizontal line along the lower crease—was large, so it often left many scars as well. When first undergoing such a procedure, because people are so exhausted and worn down by breast hypertrophy that they may feel that once the bust becomes small enough, everything else is secondary, it may not seem very important. But later on, when looking back, many people were disappointed to find that the long scar stood out.
That is why the vertical incision method was devised to reduce the scar as much as possible. By removing the horizontal line along the lower crease, this method leaves a smaller scar, and concerns about scarring can be somewhat eased. However, the vertical incision method sometimes could not produce satisfactory results for breasts that were very large or severely sagging.
What is a J-shaped incision?

That is how the newly devised J-shaped incision method came about. Some people with severe breast hypertrophy seemed unlikely to be reduced enough with a vertical incision, and some experienced a problem called a dog ear, where the skin in that area becomes stretched and bulges during the tightening and suturing process. In those cases, the O-shaped method would again come to mind, but the goal was to avoid leaving scars that were too large.
So it was found that by proceeding with a slight outward turn from the vertically descending line, it was possible to achieve a clear reduction even in cases that would otherwise seem to require the O-shaped incision to reduce enough. Because of this, there was no need to worry excessively about whether a large scar would remain after breast reduction. The vertical incision also had drawbacks: a bulging mark could form where the tightened sutures were made, and it was difficult to overcome sagging. These issues could also be sufficiently improved with the J-shaped incision.
Surgery that requires measurement and planning

Because of people who hold the vague view that having large breasts must be a good thing, those who suffer because of large breasts rarely receive understanding. In addition, when the breasts are actually too large, they often undergo changes such as severe sagging in shape, so they come to have a completely different problem from a pretty, full bust that highlights the figure.
For that reason, breast reduction surgery should be seen as a process that not only reduces the size of the breasts, but also creates a beautiful bust so that the body can be attractive and balanced. To do this, it is necessary to think carefully about how to proceed and to make a detailed plan before the actual surgery.
Only when each person’s body type, breast shape, and all other factors are thoroughly analyzed and designed to suit them can beautiful breasts be created. Therefore, if you want to make your breasts look beautiful, it is important to proceed at a place with extensive experience and skill.
Is the pain severe?

When undergoing this kind of process, people who worry a lot and feel anxious about pain and physical strain may wonder whether, after choosing this solution, they will be in too much pain and unable to manage properly until the end.
Of course, such worries can arise, but in fact it is important to note that the solution for reducing breast size is not that painful.
Pain after surgery usually comes from the muscles, but breast reduction remodels the outer skin and the tissue enclosed by that skin appropriately, so the muscles are not touched. Therefore, compared with breast augmentation, which involves peeling down below the muscle to insert an implant, the pain tends to be less. Of course, because there is a wound, it can hurt and there may be discomfort during recovery, but it is considered to be at a level that can be sufficiently controlled with painkillers, so there is no need to worry too much about pain.

Breast hypertrophy was originally almost like a condition. Regardless of whether it looks good or not, it creates various problems and discomfort in everyday life, lowers quality of life, and affects health.
Even so, it is easy to focus too lightly and only on wanting to become prettier. If you want to reduce the scar area, minimize scarring, and create a size and shape that are sufficiently satisfying, you will need to know in detail how the female breast is structured as a body part. Please keep this firmly in mind, and I hope you can actively look for a method that takes both function and health, as well as aesthetics, into account.
