Hello.
Today, regarding accessory breast surgery,
I’d like to address one question
that many people ask in the consultation room.

"If you have accessory breast surgery, can’t you just remove the glandular tissue?"
"Do you really have to do liposuction?"
To answer this question,
you cannot remove only the glandular tissue because of the shape.

Whenever possible, I recommend doing liposuction together.
There are several reasons for this, but as mentioned earlier,
if only the glandular tissue is removed, the shape can look unnatural.

Because an accessory breast is like a small breast,
its glandular and fatty areas are mixed together.
But if you remove only the glandular tissue and leave the fat behind,
bumps and uneven protrusions can appear.

In particular, the armpit area has thin skin
and is a part that moves frequently, right?
So even a little unevenness
can become easily noticeable.

In other words, liposuction is not just an option.
It is an important step that finishes the contour.
When liposuction is done together,
the tissue settles more evenly,
and the line from the armpit to the breast line
is refined much more smoothly and naturally.

The way clothes fit
Sleeveless fit
A silhouette that doesn’t look like surgery
Liposuction plays a truly major role in these areas.
So if you want a beautiful result,
liposuction should be done together.

At this point, some people may be concerned about recovery.
If liposuction is done together,
swelling and bruising may last a little longer.
Usually, most of it settles within about 3 weeks,
compression garments are also worn for about 3 weeks,
and light daily activities are possible the day after surgery.
As long as you are not heavily using your arms,
recovery can be considered sufficiently quick.

Accessory breast surgery is not simply a procedure
that removes only glandular tissue.
It is a delicate surgery that must address
the glandular tissue, fat, and contours together.

Therefore, to satisfy both function and appearance at the same time,
you should think of it as
glandular tissue removal + liposuction together
Please remember that what matters much more is not stopping at removing tissue,
but how to finish it beautifully and naturally!
Thank you.
