"When I take photos these days,
my jawline feels
much less defined than before.."
"My facial elasticity has suddenly dropped,
and it’s stressful every time I look in the mirror.."
Nice to meet you.
I’m Lim Jin-young,
chief director of Piaf Clinic in Jamsil.
You may probably be thinking,
"Should I try Rejuran?"
As a doctor in practice,
I’d like to give you one piece of advice.
Jamsil Rejuran
comes in a variety of types,
you need to know that.
In other words, you should choose the type
that matches your skin condition
and concerns.

That way, you can prevent the regretful situation
of spending money without seeing much effect.
"Isn’t it fine
just to get any type?"
If that’s what you were thinking,
I hope you’ll read this article
all the way to the end.
I’m going to explain in detail
what types of Rejuran there are,
and which one is right for you.
Are you feeling a little more like continuing?
Then please focus for just 3 minutes!
Types of Rejuran?
Just remember 4.
Many people think
there is only one type, but
that is not actually the case.
Depending on skin condition and concerns,
there are several formulations
you can choose from.

If you know just these 4 representative types,
you can make a much clearer judgment
when getting a consultation.
"Do I need overall recovery?"
"Am I concerned about fine lines around the eyes?"
"Is dryness making my skin feel tight?"
"Do I want to improve deep scars?"
The options change depending on questions
like these.
First, Rejuran Healer is
what you could call the most basic type.
It is composed of
high-purity polynucleotides (PN),
and its goals are overall skin regeneration,
improved elasticity, barrier recovery,
and reduction of fine lines.

Therefore, it is used by injecting it
across the entire face.
It is relatively mild in irritation,
but after injection,
you may feel stinging
or develop slight bumps.
Next, Type I (Eye)
is a formulation specifically for the eye area.
It has low viscosity and high fluidity,
so it is designed to place less burden
on the thin, sensitive skin around the eyes.
It is suitable for people who want to improve
under-eye fine lines, hollowness,
dark circles, and reduced elasticity around the eyes.
HB (HB Plus) contains PN,
hyaluronic acid, and the anesthetic ingredient
lidocaine.
So it is recommended for people whose face is dry
or who feel strong internal tightness,
and for those who want moisture and regeneration
at the same time.

Thanks to lidocaine, pain during the procedure
is reduced,
and because hyaluronic acid improves hydration,
it is a good choice for first-time users
or people with sensitive skin.
Lastly, Type S (Scar)
is a high-viscosity formulation made of
high-concentration PN.
It is used when trying to restore areas with
significant damage or loss,
such as deep scars, acne marks,
thick wrinkles, or depressed areas.
As you can see, Rejuran is not all the same
under the simple name of
"skin injection."
If you remember that there are several options
you should choose from based on your condition
and purpose,
it will be much easier to decide
when you get a consultation.

In fact, Rejuran
may not be the answer.
If you choose it blindly just because others say it’s good,
it may not be the most suitable option for you.
Of course, Jamsil Rejuran
is definitely one of the excellent options.
However, depending on the cause of your skin condition
or concern, other skin boosters,
laser procedures, or microneedling
may be more appropriate.
In other words, Rejuran is not the only answer.
Originally, this is a regenerative procedure
aimed at relatively natural and gentle changes,
such as regeneration, restoration of elasticity,
hydration, and scar improvement.
So there are limits to expecting dramatic volume increase,
immediate lifting, or an effect that erases deep wrinkles
all at once.

Also, not all skin concerns
can be solved by cell regeneration alone.
For example, if the cause of pigmentation
or dark circles is not simply thin skin,
but vascular issues or pigmentation,
Rejuran alone may be difficult to improve.
In such cases, laser treatment or pigment management
needs to be combined for results.
And if loss of elasticity or skin texture problems
around the eyes or over the entire face
are present at the same time,
then an additional procedure such as Potenza,
a high-frequency microneedling treatment,
may be added
to raise the skin’s regenerative ability.

"It doesn’t seem much different.
What is this?"
In fact, some people who expected immediate changes
end up feeling disappointed.
Because Rejuran works by newly generating collagen and elastin
and gradually restoring the extracellular matrix,
it can take time before the changes become noticeable.

Moreover, skin concerns can be more complex
than you might think.
Multiple causes such as the capsule,
pigmentation, blood vessels, and structural sagging
may be intertwined at the same time.
So rather than trying to solve everything with
just one PN injection,
it is much more effective to first examine the overall
skin condition and take a combined approach.

In the end, Jamsil Rejuran is an appealing option,
but you should know that it is not a cure-all.
What matters is accurately identifying your skin condition
and concerns, and reviewing multiple options
with an open mind.
So far, we’ve gone over the types of Jamsil Rejuran
and the features of each type,
as well as the realistic point that this method alone
may not be the answer.
Rejuran is a useful option that can provide
various positive effects such as skin regeneration,
hydration, recovery of elasticity,
and scar relief.
But it is not the only solution.

Depending on what your skin needs
and what kind of changes you want,
other methods such as skin boosters,
lasers, or fillers may be more suitable.
So please consult thoroughly with a specialist
and find the method that is best suited to you.

Thank you for reading to the end.
