Nice to meet you.
This is Gangnam Objet Plastic Surgery.
When we meet someone,
which part do we look at first?
Probably the "eyes" or the "nose."
The eyes and nose are located at the center of the face,
so they play an important role in determining one's impression.
| For a more refined image than you have now, inquiries about various types of rhinoplasty, including tip rhinoplasty, are steadily increasing. |

✓ I want a natural nose that doesn't look done
✓ I don't want it to look done... but I still want a glamorous nose
A glamorous nose is bound to look noticeable, right?
.....
Not necessarily.
Looking noticeable and being glamorous
are clearly different.
What matters is how to achieve a result that is glamorous,
while still not looking done,
as desired by the patient.
Starting now,
I'd like to talk about
natural tip rhinoplasty.
If there are readers here who think,
"The nose I want is a glamorous one,
but I'm worried it will look surgically altered,"
I hope you read to the end
and that this helps you make a careful decision.

As those who have already consulted at
various plastic surgery clinics
probably know,
when building up the nasal tip,
we use the septum or ear cartilage.
However, depending on the person,
some people do not have enough
septal cartilage or ear cartilage.
In such cases, donor rib cartilage or
autologous rib cartilage should also be considered.
For those who are not yet familiar with
septum cartilage, ear cartilage,
donor rib cartilage, or autologous rib cartilage,
I will briefly explain them.
Septum

This is cartilage taken from inside the nose.
It is flat and has little curvature,
so it is suitable for lengthening the nose
or building up the nasal tip.
Ear cartilage

It is similar to nasal tip cartilage,
and compared with the septum,
it has greater elasticity,
so it is used to create a natural-looking nasal tip.
Donor rib cartilage

Rhinoplasty using donor rib cartilage
is a surgery in which rib cartilage donated by another person
is transplanted to improve the shape of the patient's nose.
Autologous rib cartilage

This is a surgery that improves the shape of the nose
by using the patient's own rib cartilage.
Because the patient's own tissue is used,
the risk of implant rejection
or complications from an external donor
may be reduced.
For natural tip rhinoplasty, what material should be used, and how should it be used?

✓ Had surgery for rhinitis in the past
✓ Had double jaw surgery in the past
✓ The septum is too small, so there is no material for the nasal tip
✓ You do not want to use autologous rib cartilage
If even one of the four cases above applies,
you were probably advised to have
nasal tip rhinoplasty using donor rib cartilage in most cases.
However, at our clinic,
without using the septum, donor rib cartilage,
or autologous rib cartilage,
we create a natural tip rhinoplasty
using only ear cartilage.
If only ear cartilage is used,
won't it drop later?

What patients often worry and feel anxious about
regarding ear cartilage is whether
the nasal tip will drop later.
To give you the conclusion first, it will not.
This is one of Dr. Lee Kyung-mook's techniques:
you simply use the ear cartilage method
a little differently.
First, to explain the tip rhinoplasty method using ear cartilage,
there is the cartilage that protrudes in the middle of the ear,
and just above it.
Take at least 2 cm from this upper part,
remove it in a rugby-ball shape,
and then fold it in half to make it stronger.
This is used in place of the septum.
Because the ear is somewhat soft
and elastic,
it cannot create a sharply pointed nose,
but it can create a nose that is
somewhat natural and beautiful,
so actual patient satisfaction with the surgery
is relatively high.
In other words, if you want to raise the nasal tip
in a truly natural way,
ear cartilage alone can be a good option.
However, for those who want a slightly higher,
more defined nasal tip,
the shape of the nasal bone or cartilage, skin elasticity,
and muscle tissue all affect the nose's shape and balance,
so methods other than ear cartilage
should also be considered together.
Why Objet performs
ear cartilage rhinoplasty

As mentioned earlier, ear cartilage
has elastic and soft characteristics,
so while improving the shape of the nose,
it can achieve a natural result.
Despite these advantages,
the reason it is used in very few places
is that it takes a long time
and is cumbersome.
However, at our clinic,
if a method can increase the patient's satisfaction and safety,
we proceed with that method
even if it is difficult and cumbersome.
Before surgery,
through sufficient consultation with the patient,
we reflect individual needs,
but also consider the shape and structure of the nose,
and provide personalized surgery
for the best possible result.
Objet Plastic Surgery does not
see rhinoplasty as simply a process
of lifting the nasal tip as much as possible.
We see it as an opportunity
to welcome a more brilliant life
through a natural and beautiful change in image.
Can rhinoplasty really make your image more refined?
My nasal tip is low, which is a complex...
But if it looks done, wouldn't it be better not to do it?
If you are worried about these things,
come meet Objet now.
You will experience a natural change.
