| How to Apply Objet Plastic Surgery Eye Cream Correctly |

These days, as soon as you wash your face, it feels like a dry season.
Among our facial areas, the skin around the eyes is especially thin and prone to wrinkles,
so it needs even more careful care during this time.
The skin around the eyes is very thin and does not have well-developed sebaceous glands,
so it is an area that dries out easily and wrinkles quickly.
So to help prevent eye wrinkles,
many people probably use eye cream.
In the past, it was mostly a cosmetic chosen by middle-aged and older adults,
but these days it is one of the products that younger people also make sure to apply.
However, there are still quite a few people who are confused about whether they should use it or not.
So today, we will take some time to look at the actual effects of eye cream,
how to apply it properly,
and some of the questions people often have about eye cream.

What is the difference between eye cream and regular moisturizer?
Many people wonder about this question, right?
Eye cream is a product designed to reduce irritation to the skin around the eyes.
Compared with regular moisturizing cream,
it is a bit difficult to say that the anti-wrinkle functional ingredients are especially different.
Both eye cream and regular cream
play a role in moisturizing to prevent dry skin,
which can cause wrinkles.
Therefore, rather than necessarily applying a separate eye cream,
it is better to apply regular moisturizer frequently
to keep the skin hydrated.

However, for people with sensitive skin, using a cream made specifically for the eye area can be helpful.
And eye cream products also have moisturizing effects,
so it would not be correct to say they are ineffective for moisturizing and wrinkle prevention.
Therefore, separating regular cream and eye cream and applying them differently
is not as significant as you might think.

When should you start using it?
Eye cream should be started as early as possible,
ideally from around age 25, when skin aging begins,
to help slow the aging process even a little.
When applying it, do not rub too hard so as not to damage the skin’s elastic fibers,
and it is recommended that you apply it gently by patting.
Also, because the mucous membrane is much more sensitive than the skin,
it is better to apply eye cream slightly away from the eye line
so that it does not get into the eyes.
Some people may wonder what to do about wrinkles that form very close to the eyes.
Moisturizing ingredients spread slightly beyond the area where they are applied,
so there is no need to worry too much.

Also, all moisturizers, including eye cream,
are better when applied frequently.
However, applying more on top of skin exposed to fine dust
or over makeup is not recommended,
because it can actually contaminate the skin
and also will not be absorbed well.

Are retinoid ointments more effective at preventing wrinkles?
Retinol, a common ingredient in eye cream,
is known to be effective for fine wrinkles, elasticity, and pore improvement
because it has a collagen-regenerating effect.
However, unlike prescription retinoids,
retinol used in cosmetics is weaker and present in lower concentrations,
so its effects are also milder.
In fact, these days, to get better results,
more people are getting prescriptions from clinics for ointments containing higher-concentration retinoid ingredients
and applying them.
Retinoids are effective,
but because they are ingredients that can irritate the skin,
continued use of high-concentration retinoids can cause irritant dermatitis,
so they cannot simply be considered good in every case.
In particular, the skin around the eyes is easily damaged even by small irritations,
so if you are using them to improve eye wrinkles,
you should apply them only after 충분히 consulting with medical staff.

Today, together with Objet Plastic Surgery,
we took some time to look at the proper way to use eye cream
to help prevent eye wrinkles.
