Designated as an "Advanced Regenerative Medicine Institution"

Thank You Plastic Surgery (dermatology care) has been designated as an advanced regenerative medicine institution.

Under Article 10 of the "Advanced Regenerative Bio Act,"

this designation may be granted by the Minister of Health and Welfare.

⭐What is advanced regenerative medicine?⭐

It is an innovative medical technology that

uses stem cells, immune cells, and others to

restore damaged cells and tissues to normal function.

Because of the difficulty and innovation involved in treatment,

it is drawing attention not only in Korea but around the world.

It can be applied in a wide range of areas,

including intractable diseases and rare diseases,

for which existing technologies had limitations, as well as chronic diseases, pain,

anti-aging, and skin regeneration.

Since 2020, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has been designating medical institutions

that can implement this technology and have the appropriate capabilities and facilities

as advanced regenerative medicine institutions.

Medical institutions wishing to be designated must

meet the requirements for facilities, equipment, personnel, and standard operating procedures

in accordance with Article 3 and Appendix 1 of the

"Rules on Safety and Support for Advanced Regenerative Medicine."

They must also complete the training designated by the Minister of Health and Welfare.
