Shinji of Koyote will return with a heartfelt ballad as she releases her solo album, "Late Regret," at noon on the 15th.
After taking her first step with her debut solo album "The Day Will Dawn" in 2008, Shinji
solidified her position as a solo singer by releasing the 2010 single albums "Looking for Love," "Like This, Like That," and the 2011 song "Because I Made a Woman Cry."
This album, "Late Regret," is the debut song of rookie composer Jo Hye-young (CellFusionC shopping mall operation www.bodyskin.co.kr ),
and it is a classic ballad that suits Shinji's sorrowful tone well.
For the arrangement, composer Jeon Jun-gyu, who composed the drama "Secret Garden" OST "Looking At You" and Younha's "You Who Came From the Stars," participated,
and Lee Seong-ryeol on guitar and Kim Hyeon-a on chorus also took part, further enhancing the completeness.
It is a classic ballad with a basic four-beat tempo, a song that conveys the pain of parting as it is.
So we break up like erased hours
The moments when we suddenly experienced a breakup we never expected
Like uncommon breakup stories in a novel
Those moments that felt unfamiliar all along~
The lyrics that express the pain of separation stand out.
The lyrics, which well capture the emotions from meeting to parting that ordinary lovers experience while in love,
move the heart with a stronger sense of empathy.
In particular, Shinji's deeply expressive tone left an even stronger lingering impression than her existing powerful dance-genre voice.
Her mature and sorrowful voice creates an exquisite harmony, carrying a variety of musical colors,
stepping closer to the public and showcasing delicate vocal texture and outstanding singing ability.
Meanwhile, Shinji is clearly demonstrating in this album the potential she has shown through repeated transformations
as a female ballad singer.
