Hello, this is Marble Plastic Surgery.
Today, we’ll show you a real one-month progress review, from before the breast augmentation surgery to after it was performed at our clinic.

This patient had relatively small breast volume and asymmetry between the left and right sides,
so she had discomfort when wearing clothes in everyday life and was experiencing stress.
For this review, the patient wanted the surgery to be done naturally.
(Depending on each patient’s body type and tissue characteristics, the implant used will differ.
Receiving a consultation directly from a specialist before surgery helps lead to a more satisfying result.)
Types of people who should decide carefully about breast augmentation
- A slim body type with almost no fat layer
- Wanting an unrealistic size
- Severe breast asymmetry
- Within 6 months after breastfeeding
- A history of keloids, family history of breast cancer, or autoimmune disease
In cases like these, you need to look into things more carefully,
and it helps to clearly know what kind of implant you want, where you want the incision, and what shape you are aiming for.
Because this patient had a slim body type, we performed the surgery by adding volume suited to her body shape, with the subtle line she wanted.

Day 1
After surgery, a compression bra + bandages + an upper band are worn.
A band is also applied to the incision site.
For the first 3 days after surgery, swelling, bruising, and pain can become more severe,
so you should minimize movement as much as possible and be careful because bleeding may occur after surgery.

Day 7
Around day 7, the bandages are removed and only the compression bra and upper band are worn.
At this time, the stitches are also removed, and medication to help prevent capsular contracture is prescribed.
It is best to follow the instructions and duration for the prescribed medication exactly.
If you do not wear the upper band, the implant can roll upward,
so even if it feels uncomfortable, you must wear it.
The compression bra helps keep the implant in place, so we recommend wearing it.
(Usually, wearing it for about one month is recommended, but the duration may change depending on the situation.)

One month
At the one-month mark, you receive radiofrequency care, and the director personally provides the follow-up care.
Alcohol and smoking can cause inflammation and various side effects,
so you must stop both smoking and drinking.
Also, after surgery, when sleeping, avoid sleeping on your stomach or on your side for a certain period of time.
Sleeping with your pillow slightly elevated is the safest and best for maintaining recovery.
That concludes the explanation along with the one-month progress photos.
Be careful not to let water or contaminants touch the incision site where the implant was inserted,
and applying scar medication well so that the surgical scar can heal properly is a good way to manage scarring.
The most important thing is to visit the hospital promptly if any unusual symptoms appear.
After surgery, rather than worrying alone, it is best to visit the clinic and have your progress checked.
I hope this helps those who are considering breast augmentation, and I’ll end the post here.
