I am Ogana, a board-certified dermatologist with 16 years of experience.

As a dermatologist,
while seeing patients,
I am also involved in various business activities.
First, as the chief director of OganaCell Dermatology Clinic,
located in Cheongdam,
I meet many patients.

I am also working hard in many areas,
including running a hair salon, YouTube activities,
and even investment businesses.
People usually think of doctors as professionals who see patients at a hospital,
but in addition to my dermatology practice,
I keep taking on new challenges in fields I enjoy.
A dermatologist whose hobby is business

Everyone has different hobbies.
Some people like exercise,
and some enjoy traveling.

I am someone who enjoys business
as if it were a hobby.
Running a business as a hobby sounds a little strange, doesn’t it?

Meeting patients in the consultation room
and providing skin treatments
are my main profession,
but outside of that time,
planning and running businesses
is another source of enjoyment for me.

Looking back on how I started business,
I think that even since my school days,
I liked directly planning something,
putting it into action,
and immersing myself in it.

While studying hard to walk the path of a doctor,
I also started thinking about the future early,
and naturally became interested in economic activities
aimed at a better future.
As a result, I got opportunities to take on challenges in various fields,
and now I run multiple corporations
as well as my own brand.
From dermatologist to businessperson, and then back to dermatology

The question I hear most often while doing business is,
"Why would a doctor also run businesses?"
In fact, running a dermatology clinic is, broadly speaking, also a business.
But to me, business is not simply about generating profit;
I see it as a process of providing better services
and creating new value.

Even while running OganaCell Dermatology Clinic,
I do not think of myself as someone who simply provides treatment to patients like a machine.
I also place importance on the clinic’s atmosphere, service,
and the way we communicate with patients.
These concerns accumulated,
leading me to expand into a hair salon, a cosmetics brand,
and investment activities,
which in turn became the various businesses I run today.
Business that started like a hobby became a philosophy.

Running multiple businesses at once
has given me a new perspective on dermatology care and patient management.
Beyond simply finding a good treatment method,
I realized that every part of the experience patients have at a clinic matters.
The environment of the treatment room,
the tone and attitude of the director and staff,
the clinic’s interior, and even the flow of movement
all matter when it comes to helping patients feel trust and comfort.

OganaCell’s philosophy is
not simply to solve skin problems,
but to create a space that patients can trust and return to.
Even if it takes a little more time,
we provide care in a way that seeks out and addresses the root cause of skin problems,
and for that reason,
we think carefully about treatment methods tailored to each individual patient.
The experiences I built up since my school days,
the spirit of challenge,
and what I learned through business
all came together to create the current OganaCell philosophy.
Going forward, based on this philosophy,
I will continue striving to provide a better care environment
and better medical services.
