How Does a Cheongdam-dong Dermatologist Who Runs a Business Spend the Day?

Hello.

I’m Oh Gana, a board-certified dermatologist with 16 years of experience.

Today, following on from the previous post,

I’ve prepared Part 2 of my daily life.

This time, I focused on

weekday consultations

and my life after work.

I live an ordinary life,

one that is not particularly special,

but

At the time I filmed this video,

I had just decided to expand the second Ogana Cell Dongdaemun branch,

so my feelings of excitement and restlessness

came through clearly.

This is what the Ogana Cell treatment room looks like

When I have some free time during consultations,

I usually practice golf,

but today I’m making time especially for you

to show you my treatment room.^^

The treatment room has objects that reflect my own tastes

placed throughout.

From books arranged for patients to see,

my diploma and dermatology-related certificates,

and even the commemorative plaque I received when ordering my Porsche,

because I like cars,

there’s a variety of things here.

They’re all things I value dearly~

Also, there are often snacks

that patients bring me.

On that day, for lunch,

I filled up on

'the Eastern-style injeolmi'

given to me by a patient.

Even in a busy day,

I’m so grateful for this kind warmth.

Because I usually have a lot of business trips to Japan,

I try to eat just one meal a day

while in Korea,

but on days like this, I just enjoy the food.

And in between consultations,

there are also supplements I make sure to take.

A supplement containing vitamin B and turmeric,

omega-3 with no heavy metal concerns,

and liquid zinc

are what I take.

Keeping my body healthy

is also an important part of being a doctor!

When I don’t have consultations,

I also enjoy watching YouTube. haha

I often watch KwakTube.

What is my life like after work?

After finishing consultations,

it’s time to head over to

the second Ogana Cell Dongdaemun branch.

Luckily, my consultations ended 20 minutes early,

which made me feel good.

Today, I also had a meeting,

and I planned to look around the expanded space.

When I arrived at the Dongdaemun branch,

I could see the atmosphere around the area had changed completely over just a few months.

It’s tightly surrounded by apartment complexes.

As redevelopment in the Cheongnyangni area progressed,

the surrounding environment changed in a new way,

and thanks to that, I feel the Dongdaemun branch’s location

has become even better.

After arriving at the clinic,

I also took a quick look at the break room

for the directors at the Dongdaemun branch.

This is the space where the directors rest,

and it’s full of items that reflect their tastes.

What stands out are the detailed Lego models

and various decorations.

It was a space that showed that you should work hard when working,

enjoy yourself properly when it’s time to enjoy,

and rest well.

Meeting together after a long time

and sharing updates with one another,

I was reminded again that even amid a busy schedule,

we need rest.

Especially today, there was an important announcement.

That was the expansion plan for Ogana Cell’s second branch!

We expanded the space from the existing 3rd floor to the 2nd floor,

and now we’ll be able to welcome patients

in a more comfortable environment.

If the space gets larger,

the staff will be able to work more comfortably too,

and visitors will be able to receive treatment

in a more pleasant setting.

While looking around the expanded space,

it was still empty for now,

and we spent time discussing

how to decorate it in the future

and how to operate it.

Rest is important too, for the next goal

Running a business, and operating a dermatology clinic,

has been a time of nonstop effort.

But sometimes,

we need moments like this to rest.

Sharing a delicious dinner with the directors

who have been working hard alongside me,

and recharging for the next goal

felt very precious.

Running a business is not simply about increasing sales,

but about creating a better environment

and providing better services,

I think.

Ogana Cell’s growth

must also have come together through all of these small efforts in daily life.

After spending the day like this,

I gain the energy to move forward

toward a new goal again.

Today too, and tomorrow too, I’ll keep running toward better change.^^
